The Top Ten Reasons to Pursue a Master's Degree in Urban & Regional Planning

Application for admission is usually made for the Fall term. Because of the sequencing of courses, admission for Fall is preferable, but applications are considered for Spring term admission as well. No students are admitted for first enrollment in Summer term.

The purpose of the admissions process is to judge the applicant's basic intellectual resources, motivations for seeking the degree, probability of successfully completing the program, and the appropriateness of the Department's faculty and course offerings to the student's program and career interests.

Please choose from the options in the menu to the left to find further details on how to apply to the Master's and PhD programs.

Please also review the Department of Urban and Regional Planning's Graduate Programs Guide for details on courses of study and degree requirements.
