The Department of Economics is part of the College of Social Sciences, in which we
are the largest Department. We have 32 full time faculty, and an active research
program. We offer two majors for the Bachelor's degree, a traditional major and an
applied major. We offer a MS program with a strong applied focus, which can be
completed in twelve months. We have done a PhD program that is probably the most comprehensive
in the State of Florida, and which has graduated to 200 PhD's over the last forty years.
