Assistant Professor
John Lightle is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Florida State University. He received his Ph.D. in Economics in 2008 from The Ohio State University and was hired as part of the Experiment Social Science at Florida State (xs/fs) cluster. His research focuses on behavioral economics, using both theoretical analysis and controlled laboratory experiments. His specific research interests include the study of information exchange in group decision making, biases involved in information transmission and pooling, the role of informed experts in policy making, and the factors involved in reciprocal gift-giving. He lives in Tallahassee, FL with his wife, Rebecca, and daughter, Sophia.
