Ron Cheung is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics and a faculty associate of the DeVoe L. Moore Center. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of British Columbia in 2006. His primary areas of research and teaching are urban economics and public finance. His recent research has examined issues such as homeowners’ associations, local expenditures and taxation, land-use regulation and property tax limitations.
