Giving to the College

As alumni and friends of the College you can take great pride in the fact that your support is making a significant difference in the lives of students.

Your generous donations have played an integral role in shaping the College’s long history of producing outstanding leaders and providing our students with a quality academic education in a number of nationally acclaimed disciplines.

If you have not yet made the choice to become a donor, we appreciate your consideration and hope you will join us in helping students succeed.

There are a number of giving options for the College, our departments, programs, centers and institutes. All contributions regardless of size are important and will help benefit our students, faculty and programs, both now and in the future.

Since former Governor Reubin Askew served a term as president of the SGA in 1951, students from the College have regularly served in leadership positions. Over half of SGA presidents in recent decades have hailed from the College, including current SGA president Dustin Daniels.

FSU students regularly win prestigious national and international awards and the FSU Office of National Fellowships’ honors these students in its Hall of Fame. While our College accounts for 12 percent of the FSU student body, over 40 percent of all Hall of Fame members are graduates of the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy. The College has produced two of the three most recent FSU Rhodes Scholars, Garrett Johnson ’07 and Joe O’Shea ’09.
