Our mission is to prepare all traditional and applied economics majors and minors for the professional world that they will meet after they graduate. Most undergraduate and graduate students generally have little to no experience in the career field they are earning their degree. Joining NABE is the perfect opportunity to get a head-start on your social network and professional experience that will be come all but necessary after college. NABE hosts and sponsors many conferences, seminars and other informative/interactive functions throughout the year. As students and members, you have the opportunity to rub elbows with America’s top professional economists to discuss relevant issues of different parts of today’s economy. Having such close contact with these professionals all over the world will help you to develop a close set of contacts unique to your peers.
