COSS Students & Grads To Be Olympians in Beijing
Two recent College of Social Sciences graduates, Walter Dix ('08) and Dorian Scott ('07), and College of Social Sciences senior Ricardo Chambers are among the athletes competing at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.
Walter Dix will be competing in the 100m & 200m sprints, Dorian Scott will be competing in the shot put, and Ricardo Chambers will be competing in the 400m sprint.
COSS Students Win Internships with Gubernatorial Fellowship Program
Three College of Social Sciences students have been chosen to participate in the 2008 Gubernatorial Fellowship Program.

According to the Chronicle of Higher Education's Faculty Productivity Index for 2007, FSU's Department of Sociology ranks 6th in the nation when compared to other sociology programs.
FSU's Askew School Ranked 10th in Faculty Productivity
According to the Chronicle of Higher Education's Faculty Productivity Index, FSU's Askew School of Public Administration and Policy is ranked tenth overall, or third among public universities. This is based on publications, awards and grants.
