Excellence in Economic Education (EEE)
This program is designed to promote excellence in the teaching of economics at all educational levels. Program faculty must excel in the teaching of economics and the training of others to become outstanding economics teachers. This objective is pursued through workshops, development of creative materials, and other programs designed to promote both interest in and understanding of the "economic way of thinking." Economics is exciting and the EEE program seeks to bring this excitement alive for both students and teachers.

Student affiliations with EEE
The Florida State Economics Club's academic advisor is Lora Holcombe, and the club meets regularly in the Stavros Center. The Center offers an undergraduate Certificate Program in Markets and Institutions. Students can obtain this Certificate by taking 4 classes from a set of courses taught by EEE and SPEFE faculty. EEE faculty also work with all graduate TAs in economics, preparing them to be teachers and assisting them as they develop and teach their own economics courses.
