The Stavros Center hosts several workshops and events throughout the year. We encourage teachers to attend workshops to broaden their horizons.

Economic Experiments in the Classroom

For Whom:  This workshop will be of interest to teachers at both the Middle School and High School Levels. In addition, social science teachers, math teachers will find it of interest.

About The Workshop Leader

This is a hands-on workshop. It will provide you with several experiments that you can use in the classroom to illustrate economic concepts and make them come alive for your students. Attendees will participate as buyers, sellers, traders, and investors in demonstration versions of experiments that can be used in the classroom. This workshop will provide you with some exciting and innovative ideas that will make your class more interesting and, at the same time enhance your ability to get important concepts across to your students. It will make you a better teacher.
